I’ve been thinking about how people interact with their spending.
When the focus is mostly on budgets, numbers or categories, I feel the more impactful part is the behaviour. Why do we actually spend on certain things?
Think common purchases or spends you make, but don’t always question or understand whether they’re helpful or not.
For Example ⬇️
Coffee - Routine / habit comfort
Takeaways - ease / low effort
Gym membership - intention / consistency
Unplanned purchases - impulse / quick reward
Paying extra for faster delivery - Time over money
I know it’s not the same for everyone, but I’m curious:
Would understanding your own spending behaviour change anything for you?
