I overplayed a bit on HC this past week and I now have a weird pain in my right knee. It doesn't hurt when I have weight on it. Only when I lift the foot off the ground and raise my knee , right about half way up, let's say 45-60 degrees from vertical I feel a little pain at the front of the kneecap. Doesn't hurt when knee is lowered or when it goes higher than that. It started yesterday and it's still present today. It also disappears sometimes, like I am not able to reproduce it and then a few minutes later it may happen again. Has anyone dealt with this type of pain?

So, I've been hitting 2hbh for many decades and I've tried almost every permutation. I have currently settled on the right hand leading for 2/3 of the stroke and the left hand pitching in at the end (I am a righty). I know some people recommend hitting a lefty forehand instead but that never felt natural to me. Anyway, the last piece of the puzzle is grip choice. Up until a few days ago I was using the one handed backhand eastern grip on the bottom hand (maybe a bit past eastern) but I saw some YT coaches recommending continental on the right hand. I was trying today and it was working well but in the past it had led me to hit flatter and miss long on occasion. Thoughts?
