For context of this post and why I’m asking this question is because I play a lot of Poe 1 but never really got into Poe 2 . This league I’m planning on actually doing it .

The way im planning on doing it is to use whirlwind lance and additional projectiles as I’m already gonna be scaling as many projectiles as possible for twister and with twister giving up to 6 whirlwinds at once per attack compared to whirling slash one I don’t see why whirling lance would be better ?

"Twisters fired at the same time can hit the same target no more than once every 0.66 seconds"

Also the gem has "Consumes Whirlwinds to create an additional twister and deal 80% more damage per Whirlwind stage"

Because the extra projectiles is considered "new" does that mean consuming a whirlwind effectively doubles your damage not accounting for the more multiplier ?
