Influencers obsessed with their mouths
There is a very strong, very repugnant energy that comes off of folks who are obsessed with their mouths and lips. They talk a certain way, like in slow motion, accentuating their lips on every letter they can. Lip filler is one thing, the constant puffing of the lips is another, and the general energy of the video being focused on their mouths. In this video (on Elsie Hewitt's insta story now) she also sucks on the straw in this prolonged, affected *make sure you're looking at my mouth* way and I don't even know how to describe how utterly disgusted it makes me. There's such a bad energy to it, it makes me aggressively frown while watching in horror, like my whole body cringes. What IS this? Is it just how false it all is that creeps me out so much? Is it because it's so palpably the male gaze powering this behavior? The baby face filter too and her standing up to reveal a thin body and saying she forgot her workout and now feels "terrible about herself" it's just like, who is this shit FOR.
