Hey everyone! I just moved to the Birmingham area(22m) and I’m in that awkward “I want friends but also I’m shy and don’t know where to start” phase.

I work in news as a photojournalist, so my schedule is weird and I’m usually awake when the rest of the world is asleep. Outside of that, I’m just trying to explore, meet people, and figure out where the good food and good vibes are.

If anyone has suggestions for places to hang out or ways to meet people without feeling like a lost puppy, I’m open! Never thought I would be going to Reddit for help but here we are
