Hello, I have a colleague from India who had a very scary medical episode today. When we were trying to arrange transit to the hospital or an urgent care clinic she said she is not allowed to see doctors here because she isn't eligible for an Ohip card. The poor girl has been surviving off advil for any ailments these past couple of years and no medical checkups or intervention. If another situation arises, where can she be seen and what is the procedure & cost? Any advice would be super appreciated, thank you!!
