
Did my first half over the weekend. Pretty happy with my progress over the past couple of months but where to go from here? Specifically how can I improve my time? Is it just about continuing to run? If so what distance should I be aiming for? I imagine running a half shouldn’t be a regular occurrence since it could lead to injury. Right now I am doing a easy run (5k at my girlfriends pace) a moderate 10k (not all out but maybe around 80%) and an all out 5k/10k for a total of around 3 runs a week. I know losing weight will help( lost around 30lbs but still about 15 from my goal weight) but was wondering if it’s time to do intervals or something of the like. Any advice is appreciated!
