Hey all. I am 25f American just returned from Tokyo/Kyoto with some friends. We were all blown away by how much better the food quality was in general than America, specifically the eggs. Most of the konbini food was better than a lot of food I’ve gotten at actual quality, expensive stores in the US. Especially all the eggs, the yolks are so dark yellow. Even the grapes tasted better. Why is this? Is it just because I’m from the Midwest US? (Only exception I will make is that the cheese & burgers are better here. 😆)
