My kitten is about 4 months old.
She suddenly became lethargic. She only moves when necessary, like going to the litter box. She has used it twice, and she is still eating and drinking normally. Her stool looks normal and there is no vomiting or diarrhea.
However, she mostly just lies down and sleeps. When she walks, she takes only a few steps, then sits down to rest, then after a minute walks a few more steps and stops again.
When she tries to jump onto the bed, she struggles and needs 2–3 attempts, using her claws to pull herself up.
She seems weak and tired.
Also, she becomes very sensitive when touched almost anywhere except her head and back. If I touch her paws (front or back), tail, or body, she gets irritated and meows and doesn’t want to be handled.
Her paws and ears feel warm.
I also notice sounds from her stomach like gurgling, and I can feel a pulsing movement in her abdomen.
This started about 15–16 hours ago, right after she tried a creamy treat for the first time.
Could this be caused by the treat, or is this something more serious that needs urgent veterinary attention
