ER visit to remove a nasal polyp recently discharge improved then got worse again. I was told it was non-cancerous. No biopsy he just determined the nasal polyps are non cancerous.

Discharge has continued and I am at a teaching hospital today. Tomorrow they are doing a CT scan, a rhinoscopy, and a biopsy. They think it is likely cancer.

My question: if this is cancer... What do I do? He's around 12 years old with CKD

I know the vets will suggest things but can you tell me anything that will help me prepare? Help me understand what they are saying? Know what's right to do next in terms of care?

What questions would be helpful for me to ask?
