Upcoming 2nd retrieval
TW: failed transfer. This is a negative post but I’m looking for positive feedback!!!
I’m starting stims next week for my second retrieval. If you’ve been in that spot how did you handle the anxiety and stress? I’m spiraling so bad. Our first retrieval resulted in 4 blasts but only 1 euploid which failed. It feels like I have ptsd of getting the same or worse results. I feel like when I started my first retrieval in Feb I was naive to the process. Now I know exactly what to fear and expect. I have made better choices the past couple months of absolutely no thc and alcohol maybe once a month when out. But I don’t believe I will get drastically better results. I am so down in the dumps and also have isolated myself to basically having no one in my life because the pain of infertility is too much.
