I’m 21 and I applied to this Job (CSC) a security type of job (second time) previous time I had no diploma so it’s understandable, So I went through the whole process again interviewed, and got the job. Now I filled out every paper work everything is fine. Now here's come where they decided I wasn't a match for their job requirements. I spent around a year getting my diploma to in order to meet their qualifications through a continuation school. I graduated on march at 21 years old. Today they called me telling me that I didn’t meet their requirements due to them not being able to validate my diploma for 2 reasons, 1 School usually ends in June I Ended in March (I went to continuation school)

And 2 I’m 21 and apparently it’s unusual to be able to get your diploma at 21 apparently that people over 21 usually get a GED. I tried to talk to the lady about it but she wasn’t having it every time I told her about anything she would counter argue like if she was trying to just brush me off. Like I understand they have their requirements but I believe non of their reasons are valid. What can I do? Should I just move on to a new better job? Or was I discriminated against? I’m just disappointed and discouraged about this because it took time to get my diploma just for it to not be counted. Please let me know if there’s anything I can do.
