Hey everyone!

I just got my newest extension, WebTint, approved on the Chrome Store and I'd love to get your thoughts on it.

The idea came because I always struggle with picking color palettes for my projects. WebTint uses AI to generate cohesive, beautiful color themes and instantly injects them into the live DOM of whatever website you are currently on.

How it works:

  • Open the extension on any site.
  • Click "Generate Theme" (the AI creates a smart palette of primary, secondary, accents, and backgrounds).
  • The extension instantly applies CSS filters and variable overrides to restyle the site you are looking at.
  • If you like the theme, you can export the raw CSS variables or Tailwind config to use in your own projects!

It's a great way to prototype "Dark Modes" or completely crazy cyberpunk themes on existing sites just to see how they look.

I’m a solo dev and would love any feedback on the UI, performance, or ideas for new features.

Hey everyone! 👋

Do you ever feel like 90% of the internet looks exactly the same? It's just endless white backgrounds and corporate blue buttons.

For the past few weeks, I’ve been building a tool to fix that. I just hit 'Submit' on the Chrome Web Store for my new project: WebTint AI.

It’s a browser extension that lets you use AI to instantly redesign the colors and fonts of any website you are currently browsing.

✨ What it does:

  • AI Color Generation: You can type a prompt like "Cyberpunk Hacker" or "Matcha Latte Minimalist" and the AI will generate a gorgeous, customized color palette and instantly apply it to the website you are reading.
  • True Dark Mode: You can force a premium, eye-soothing dark mode onto websites that stubbornly refuse to support it.
  • Custom Fonts: It lets you swap out boring default website fonts for beautiful typography like Inter, Playfair Display, or Space Mono.

It essentially lets you browse the internet in your own personal aesthetic. The extension is currently pending Google's final review, but I just launched a live web app where you can test out the AI generation right now!

I would love to hear what kind of crazy themes you guys can generate! Let me know what you think of the UI!
