Solved my armpit BO with cleansing balm
I never post on Reddit but sharing here in case it helps somebody else. I’ve had a problem with armpit odor for years, tried everything and could never solve it. (Head & Shoulders, Panoxyl, clinical deodorant, none of it worked long term). Always been embarrassing and stressful for me.
Anyway I had the thought to use my waterproof makeup remover on my pits one day before a shower, and I haven’t had a problem since. My hypothesis is that my smell was coming from bacteria build up from the residue that deodorant leaves. I use the Banila Clean it Zero cleansing balm - it’s good for waterproof mascara so it cleans residue like nothing else. But I imagine any waterproof makeup remover should work similarly. It’s also better for your skin than using antibacterials every day.
