Credit where credit is due: GPT-5.5 is an absolute beast but useless for UI / UX
I'm a dev with 13 years of experience, I have never really been impressed with a model's problem solving capacity but GPT-5.5 absolutely takes the crown. It's capacity for planning and getting the nuance in logical problems is just amazing.
It's absolutely useless for generating UI and designing UX. It literally has no clue what a good UI / UX looks like, basically not even junior level, I would call it just random guessing at this point.
