Luger Holster Art

Wondering if anyone could maybe help me figure out where the engravings on this holster came from. I acquired the holster several years ago along with a numbers matching byf Luger dated 1942. The holster was made in 1940 by Rudolf Contenache & Theodor Seibod. The holster contains the loading tool and spare magazine. The gentleman I bought the pistol from claimed that the pistol and holster were captured together, but with no paperwork I cannot say for sure. The names Anny, Marie, Eddie appear on the holster, along with another name that appears to be Anny/Annie but I am unsure. The man stated these carvings were done by the German that originally carried the pistol and I am curious if anyone may be able to help verify that or not. I can’t imagine Anny and Marie were rare names in Germany, but Eddie strikes me as odd and more of an American name. Another thing that I think is odd is the “font” that these names are carved in as I would expect an American GI to use more blocky type. Any insight would be appreciated! I was in a hurry but can try to get better pictures if needed.
