hello dashers,
just a friendly reminder that you will never profit above minimum wage from this ”gig”. costs to operate a car nowadays at least 70 cents a mile. anything except unicorns profit less than minimum wage per hour.. it’s inherently broken and DoorDash and customers have no problem profiting off your slave labor
edit: forgot the best part. the longer you drive the longer the chances a catastrophic accident occurs to you. your insurance and DoorDash will do everything in their power to bury you if something goes wrong and for a lot of you it will . I was hit by a drunk driver making a delivery and DoorDash didnt do shit and made my insurance pay it all after a years long court battle.
