Does anyone know how difficult it is to drop out, also is there any way for them to figure out you took a job?

What happens if I accepted an offer, but didn't tell my co op advisor, can I just drop out of the program and not pay the fees, imo the co op office is useless and they don't do anything.

The original position I applied to was on campusbridge, but I didn't get selected for it. The company reached back out to me and said they had another position open. Do I need to declare this? Would they find out?
