Scared of recovery

Hi yall. My TT, breast aug, and fat grafting is scheduled for January of next year. I’m working hard towards changing my lifestyle until then but I wanted to see if there are other Moms of little ones who went through this surgery and made it out on the other side. lol. I know it can be done but what did recovery look like for you the first week, 2nd week, 3rd week, etc? I have 4 kids. 2 seven year olds, a 6 year old, and an 18 month old (she turns two in November).

Hey everyone! I’m Kalei. 29, 2 babies via c-section, and I just scheduled my abdominoplasty, breast lift, and fat grafting to my breasts for January 6 2027 in Gainesville, FL with a doctor who has been doing tummy tucks for 30 years.

I’ve seen his before and after photos and they are amazing but I’m still so extremely nervous for this surgery! Please leave any and all advice down below.

I think what’s making me most nervous is knowing I won’t be able to pick my daughter up for a long time (she’ll be two by then, so maybe it won’t be as bad as I’m thinking) and I have my son, and 2 step sons that live with my husband and I full time. My husband is a roofer who works long hours so another reason I’m nervous is that he won’t prioritize my healing during recovery. I suppose I’m also venting a bit here too lol.

(TLDR: Young mom of 4 nervous about plastic surgery. Looking for encouragement and advice for tummy tucks recovery coming up in 9 months)

It was SO uncomfortable the first ride. How can I possibly make my ride more enjoyable and not feel like I’m sitting on concrete the whole time? 🫠
