How long until trade ins are finalized?
I'm brand new to Tesla, have never ever considered buying one until I tried out my sister's FSD and I bought one the same night lol! I chose a brand new one in the inventory at my local Tesla dealership that says it's available for immediate pickup.
I'm trading in my 2020 Honda Accord that I'm still financing. They asked for 1 picture of the dashboard to see if my odometer was accurate and that was the only photo they required of me. I got my offer almost instantly and I accepted it.
I've now completed the registration, upgrades, trade-in, financing, and insurance steps but cannot move onto the delivery date, review agreements, or final payment yet. It says my car's estimated delivery date is any time between today and Friday (May 12-15), but I'm unable to move on.
I asked Tesla Delivery and they stated that my trade-in must be completed as it is pending final approval for delivery, which is not on my end. So my question is if any of you traded in your vehicle, how long did it take to process until you could move onto the final payments and schedule a delivery date? I was hoping to get my car before my mini road-trip next week.
