Does Abbott not have a QA dept??? (Libre 3 Plus)
The heading was a little tongue in cheek, but this post IS serious...
Friday evening by sensor expired. Started a fresh one. About 10 minutes into the 60 minute warmup time, I got 2 unexpected readings 5 minutes apart, then a sensor failure.
It was late in the evening, and this person stays BUSY, (I act more like mid 50s rather than late 60s), so it was afternoon before I started the second sensor. Sensor activated successfully, completed warmup, then NO bluetooth connection. (GRRH!!). I've done all the recommended solutions, but NO JOY.
So, while I like the Libre 3 Plus, I'm truly feeling no joy at the moment. One question about the sensor replacement page... These are expensive for old folks if we need to go out and purchase outside of insurance coverage, so will Abbott replace them without much hassle? I moved to Libre 3+ due to high Dexcom failure, inaccurate readings, etc; have been fairly well pleased with the change in the past year.
