Hey everyone,
I’m the art director for a handbag brand based in Orange County, CA, and we’re currently looking to connect with freelance product photographers for ongoing ecom photography.
Our bags are made from reclaimed seatbelt material, so the biggest challenge is working with a woven/shiny surface that can reflect light easily. We’re looking for someone who can keep things feeling natural, clean, and elevated without the product looking overly glossy or harshly lit.
The direction is closer to brands like Kate Spade or Coach(polished and premium, but still soft and approachable).
Ideally looking for someone who:
- Has strong experience with accessories/handbags
- Understands lighting reflective materials
- Can maintain color accuracy and texture detail
- Has a clean, natural ecom style
- Is comfortable shooting both white seamless and lightly styled setups
Orange County / LA preferred, but open to seeing work from anywhere.
