We have a 2023 xc60. Is it safe to use any stylus pen on the display screen provided it is the round rubber tip rather than the hard pointy tip?

I started reading about capacitive vs resistive screens/pens and which pen to use, and then read that modern Volvo's have a different type of screen altogether. Figured I'd ask if anyone here knows the science and if it matters what you use on the screen.
