While not being the main theme of my sci fi story, it plays a special role in this story about a revolutionary guerrilla group fighting against a totalitarian regime. And I have many parts during the plot where it plays an important role on the characters:

- I got this rebel girl whom, when face-to-face with the person who set a m*ssacre against her people, k*lled him but not for revenge or gratification, since none of said will give her back his family, but rather, to prevent this person to do it again to anyone else.

- I've got this other rebel girl whom, after losing his father, falls in a self-destructive path of revenge which alienates everyone she cares, including his girlfriend. It's not until a hard moment where she realizes this unsustainable way she is in, she tries (and succeeds) to reconcile with her gf.

- And the harder to write, when one of the high-ranking general whom was a rebel sympathizer all along, tries to k*ll one of the remaining generals, one with whom has deep hatred and it's the physical embodiment of all the grudge she has for this government, choose not to at first, since she also remember what hatred can do in this system that turns people into monsters, and, similarly to the first one, she k*lls him from compassion, and not from hate.

Maybe is a bit idealistic, or too corny, but I’ve got hope for my characters and I believe they can succeed from hate (unlike other characters I don’t name because of length reasons), and that’s why I want this theme to be address correctly, and any advice on how to make it feel real, and not something I choose because I'm the Autor and things are done because I say so, would be very useful. Thanks <3
