Am I asking too much, or is my attorney not doing their job? I got a bankruptcy attorney back in 2019, paid them in full around April 2025 and turned in all my docs to be filed, they sent me documents with incorrect information to which I asked them to correct it, they never did and when I asked I was told they were still waiting on me to sign it. Then I got into an accident and I let them take the case because they already had 2500 of my money basically hostage (it feels that way). The accident happened 10/3/2025, and I have received no communication unless I reach out 3-10 times, at which point im told the person I need is unavailable and will call me back, just to recieve their answer via email so they dont have to actually talk to me. I called 4 weeks ago and was told they were sending a final demand letter, but recieved a call from the insurance company yesterday asking if I was done with physical therapy, and they had no recollection of any demand letters or that I even had an attorney. If I try to fire him he pretty much tells me they aren't giving me any money back ever because they used it on my case, even though they haven't filed or sent any documents out. Am I crazy or is it likely he isnt following the rules of professional conduct?
