i did some experiments on outlines for lightning rods to learn its reach better.

but then i saw something that seemed odd. i doodled a bit and found neat things out:

  • things close to a lightning rod, but out of its reach are struck, but probability is drastically reduced
  • the less placed items are placed in its near, the more likely it is gonna struck by lightning (edges get struck more often)

wood chests, placed in fulgora. chests on the edges and where less chests are around are destroyed more often. also the chests out of reach of the lightning rod are struck far less, the wider away

what do you think?
is there a way to exploit it?
is this behaivor in other mechanics observable/exploitable too?
