I’m adding a mulch ring around this dogwood trying to expose the root flair. It’s been buried over years of debris piling up. At the base of the tree there’s only 1 significant root flair and I’ve uncovered some other roots but not necessarily root flair from the base. I’ve been trying to expose with just high pressure water but as you can see I did nick 1 root when peeling up the dirt and grass.
