To whoever told me just sit there and enjoy the game, honestly terrible advice and I hate you. Please LAFC fans GO WITH THE AWAY SECTION DONT sit anywhere else for SDFC home games. Me and my girlfriend never once talked trash because we knew our situation and kept to ourselves, and yet we got our shirts pulled, got poked at, heckled, got threatened to have beer thrown at us, all the above.
TO MAKE IT WORSE, as we were leaving, we separated from some LAFC guys who honestly wish we stuck with them. Me and my girlfriend proceeded to leave the stadium and my scarf gets pulled, choking me out while my girlfriend is visibly angry. I retaliate by saying “Pull my scarf all you want, you guys aren’t in the CCC anymore” and as I turn around I get punched in the back. The security officers held me and my girlfriend back while 2-3 guys were charging at me like bro this was a 4 v 1 😭. Leaving that stadium was like having a target on my back (didn’t help that bouanga is on my shirt) with even full grown men (I’m 20 and my girlfriend is 19) attacking my girlfriend and shouting insults at her. Yet I can’t retaliate because I’m in college, I don’t want to get arrested or cause any unnecessary violence.
Forever fuck SDFC fans, because not only was that a high cortisol game, everyone was so toxic. Shoutout to that one young sdfc fans who just were there chilling. I know not all of them are like that. Night yall.
