I had an interview at a mid sized company and they asked for 3 references and my academic transcript after like a week. I submitted them right away and only 2 of 3 references were contacted the next day. They did not contact the last reference or me for more than a week (almost 2 weeks) and I wrote a follow up email to check if my reference check is going ok. They said they are still completing the reference check and we will move on from there. Its been another week and a half after the follow up email.

Should I reach them out and ask if they are having trouble with contacting the last reference?

Do I still have a chance of landing this job?
