Why is there this sudden “Hardik Pandya to RCB” push?

Just because he’s getting heat at MI doesn’t automatically make RCB the perfect landing spot. This feels like pure fan-fiction driven by emotion rather than reality.

On paper, sure, he fits. Middle-order hitter, pace option, proven finisher. No arguments there.

But people are ignoring the biggest factor: Hardik doesn’t move as just a player anymore. He moves as a captain, as a brand, as the face of a team.

There is no way he’s coming in to play under Rajat Patidar. That’s just not happening. Not because Rajat isn’t capable, but because that’s not how Hardik operates at this stage of his career.

And honestly, why would he?

He’s already led a team to a title, captained India in T20Is, and positioned himself as a marquee leader. Taking a step back into a non-captain role doesn’t align with his trajectory at all.

And I don't think the RCB management will just hand over the captaincy role on a silver platter to him after doing all the hardwork and getting Rajat into the perfect spot to lead RCB to even more titles. This is just BS and I'd urge everyone to stop giving attention to this unrealistic hype that has started.
