Hello! I am a British citizen who has been in Kyrgyzstan for a few months now. I have a visa situation and I can’t seem to get a straightforward answer from any embassy / online / visa authorities here. If anyone has any knowledge or advice that would be great! I arrived here mid January and used 20 days of my 30-day visa free allowance (as of 2026, British passport holders can get 30 days visa free in Kyrgyzstan). After roughly 20 days, my student E-visa (Category Study/S) kicked in. It last exactly three months, expiring on May 12 (coinciding with the end of my studies here). However, I’m keen to stay in Kyrgyzstan for a week beyond the end of my studies, just to explore a bit more and tie up some loose ends. It is now too late for me to extend my student visa. My question is, would the following scenario be possible: if I were to leave on May 12, spend a night in Kazakhstan, could I re-enter Kyrgyzstan on the 13th on a renewed 30-day visa free regime? Or is there a limit to how many times you can use the 30 days within a 6 month period, or is it altered if you have recently had a visa? I know some countries allow you to enter visa free but only a certain amount of times within a set period. Or, if I used 20 days visa free BEFORE my student visa kicked in, does this mean I only have 10 days left visa free? I don’t know if this is the right place to post this in, but if anyone has any knowledge or experiences that might be helpful, it would be great ! Thanks :)
