Has anyone gone from being a tech to teaching? More specifically becoming a CTE teacher? (Career and Technical educator)

I have littles and I think eventually I'll like to have summers off and just have a more flexible schedule. I wouldn't want to go get my teaching license but I came across this position and it looks interesting. I know I need a certificate but in WA state I doesn't seem like a bad transition.

Just wondered if anyone had actually done this and how it worked out for them?
