planning to enroll for bachelor's for computer science, and after poking through the reddit names like study and sophia learning pop up often - it seems like a efficient way to fast track to a degree which. great. definitely needed for someone like me who's been struggling overall (getting jobs, and academically in the past)

but a few concerns popped up for study/sophia after searching on other sites. namely i've seen people reiterate:

  • almost nonexistent customer service contact and support
  • deceptive subscription payments (overcharged or continuous monthly billing despite cancelling)
  • finished courses results delayed / marked incomplete for weeks, thus unable to be transferred

also, a recent thing that has more to do with uopeople, but i've been seeing issues with credits from these courses being transferred?

i'm hoping some of these are simple misunderstandings because i'd really like to use their services... having a more affordable and faster way would help a lot. and like having no support in itself would be fine almost expected but coupled with the others makes me worry about starting in the first place

anyways, point of this post ig is to ask people of r/uopeople who used the services above for their degrees - whether past or present, for reassurance i suppose, what was your experience?
