advice please

I bought her a large cage and my family wants her in the living room so my siblings and i can put all three birds together but we all want an individual bond with our birds. Should i jus use the cage i bought and have her in my room? i work pretty much everyday like 12-8, 9-5, 11-7 so not really all day. I don’t want her to be sad that i’m gone and i don’t wanna buy another cockatiel until she’s adapted to me.

i want my cockatiel in the living room but i’m afraid she won’t bond with me individually since my siblings also had their cockatiels and we would all be putting them in together and each want an individual bond.. Won’t they be sad when each of the birds get split up in the future whenever me and my siblings move out?

Does anyone have an estimate of figuring out how old my cockatiel is? the pet shop said she was 6 months but they “lost” the paperwork so I was unable to confirm her DOB and such. She is usually scared but extremely curious! her wings are clipped and she eats a lot! I’m a new cockatiel owner so idk if there is a way of finding out without bloodwork? 🫤🕊️

Hey guys, I got my cockatiel two weeks ago and am trying to figure out gender! blood tests at my local vet clinic is $100 and i’m tight on money. My cockatiel is a pearl white faced I think. She does not sing and sometimes yells out. Idk if that’s an early male getting acclimated to his new cage or a female. I have been calling it Matilda for days now thinking she’s a girl!! I also noticed her wings and uneven… is that going to grow back… Another thing I would like to mention is my siblings also got their cockatiels so we each have one and initially placed them all in a big cage in the living room, however the space is constantly noisy with tv and chatter since we are a hispanic household and we since then purchased a temporary carrier cage (seen in photos) and brought each bird to our rooms for personal bond. Matilda has been really enjoying this session with me as she gets closer to cage to see wha i am doing and will sometimes fly ontop of my laptop. Should i buy her a cage and set it up in my bedroom or place her back with the other birds.
