Hi all, looking for to hear others' experiences (obviously I'll be checking with the GP/MCH health nurse for any medical advice but want to hear stories from others)
We're planning to travel with LO and planned this to be after her 6 months vaccinations. Went to the GP the other day to ask what other vaccines should we consider and decided we want an early dose of the MMR at 6 months and the meningococcal B vaccine.
So 4 months was 4 months vax + 1st dose of meningococcal B
6 months will be the schedule 6 months vaccine + 2nd dose meningococcal B vaccine + MMR.
Curious if others have done this, did you have it all on the same day or space it out. Reading online, there's a live vaccine within the 6 months vax and the MMR, so they need to either be on the same day or at least 4 weeks apart?
However, while at the GP the other day, GP mentioned we should do 6 months vax + 1 of the additional shot, and then come back a few days later for the other shot?
For those who did something similar, how was LO? Was it a lot for them? My LO spiked a fever after the first meningococcal B vaccine. How did you LO react to these different vaccines?
