I’m fitting a utility room at home and will have the washing machine on the left, tumble dryer next to it and want both machines to have their own separate p traps that connect to the same main waste pipe that runs out the wall to the right. Something like the attached pic but this is more a trap.

I’ve been reading lots of things online and most say 2 p traps is against uk plumbing rules.

I’ve got mcalpine washing machine p traps kits already. I know mcalpine do a fitting to connect the hoses from both to one waste outlet p trap but I don’t want to do that as the outlet pipe will be far left of the washing machine and a panel for it to go through. It would mean when the dryer is needing to be swapped or pulled out that I need to pull out washing machine. Much easier if they have their separate dedicated waste.

Can anyone help suggest a solution even a crude hand drawn drawing is fine.

Thanks in advance.
