NUS dreams beyond crushed
I got my 5th choice CHS after waiting more than 1 week since the 1st batch of law offers were released. I have the most interest for law and business administration as 1st and 2nd choice. For context, I got 67.5/70 rp and went for law written test and interview. Biz did not call me up for ABA. Choice 3/4 were more of filler courses (for me as they were not my greatest interest but I did go for 3rd choice interview but they said results were mostly likely given out in window 2) but are quite competitive as well
I thought that with my score, at least a direct admission or an invite aba for business would be given to me. But since they did not call me up for ABA, I thought it will more likely be a direct offer. After reading many other reddit subs where law rej (some even with the same rp stats) got offered biz 2nd choice within the past week reinforced my idea that I would at least get biz but look at how the tables have turned 💀.
I'm really beyond sad and it's more of frustration. I really don't get it. Why. At least an aba invite will be nice. I don't even have the emotional capacity to be disappointed at me being rejected by law anymore since biz not letting me in makes me even more confused.
So now I don't even know what to do anymore. I know that there's only 1 appeal letter available and I don't know who to direct it to anymore. Law or biz? Or shld I email biz separately and save appeal letter for law. I'm actl crashing out rn so bad 😭 halp
