Help identifying this damascus sword
Found this at a local antique market in Turkey. It has a recurved blade like a Turkish yataghan, but it also looks like an Afghan salawar.
What type of damascus steel is it? Also, what is the meaning of the engravings on both sides? Looking for origin and estimated time period. Thanks!
