Going in my BMI was 27. Did my surgery with Dr Daniel Kaufman in Miami. He was very knowledgeable and reassuring. The clinic - Miami Life wasn’t the best with communication but it was alright. I stayed at Flawless Recovery Home and they did a great job taking care of me. I had an IV drip that day and it made me feel better.

I’ve had no complications, just two spitting stitches. My scar is healing nicely. If you’re nervous, just do everything within your control (be fit and active, get your hemoglobin up, a solid recovery team) etc. and be positive.
