After reading this post and seeing so many supporters of the idea, I'm beginning to understand why the scripts up until Season 6 were so terrible. People just want it that way.
I honestly don't know how anyone could want this entire conflict to end in 2-3 episodes without any consequences. It's just utter nonsense. I guess I should start by saying that if Adrian forgives everyone in 2-3 episodes, that would just be boring? I mean, what would they show in the remaining 23 episodes? Or do you really want most of the season to be filler? Do you really want, after a WHOLE season of building up to the secret being revealed and the consequences, the entire conflict to be resolved in two episodes with no consequences for Marinette, Félix, and Nathalie?
