I usually would only have to wait a few seconds to find a server but now, even if I do I have to wait for it to fill up. This wasn’t the case 3 days ago. Has the player count dropped once again?

I recently found this 6TB ssd/hdd from Zebronics on Amazon for just 399rs.
Will this be a suitable option? Asking people who have used external drives for storage on the ps5. Please help as I don’t want to dump 6k and upwards on any other options that only offer 1TB.
