The only way I’ve been able to understand God’s nearness lately…

I’ve been wrestling with the idea of “God’s nearness” lately.

Not because I doubt God exists, but because sometimes life still feels hard even when you’re trying to stay close to Him.

The best analogy I’ve found is this: Imagine trying to work on a laptop in the basement with weak Wi-Fi. Everything keeps buffering and disconnecting. So you move closer to the router.

The connection improves. But the project itself doesn’t suddenly become easy. The pressure doesn’t disappear. The work is still there.

The only thing that changed was the distance between you and the source. That’s kind of how I’ve started understanding this concept

I wrote more about it here if anyone wants to read:

When God’s Nearness Doesn’t Fix *It*
