I’m currently doing an internship and will start my apprenticeship in 3 months as a commercial employee (KV) at a bank. I’ve read a lot in this Reddit forum and I’m motivated to also start a business. At the same time, I don’t want to work 16-hour days or quit my apprenticeship.

I’m not sure whether my idea of starting a business that makes 10k+ per month while not working 16-hour days is incompatible, but I want to:

  1. be on the safe side and build a solid foundation with this apprenticeship, since I’ll also learn a lot about finance and economics, and
  2. avoid working 16-hour days or even nights, because I don’t want my performance in the apprenticeship to suffer, which would happen with that kind of workload.

Does anyone have advice on whether I should wait until after my apprenticeship or how I should approach this?
