Hello I am looking to get a new xt brake lever but when looking at pictures online I see some have a black blind plate and others a silver one? Does the difference indicate a newer or older model year? Or potentially anything else? Also when ordering is there a code to know which color blind plate will come with the new lever? Total noob so all info is appreciated thanks.
