Hello everyone, I have a question regarding the becoming electrician.
I am software engineer and I do like my career but I always like to do something by my hands and real projects like with arduino etc. I was thinking to do the like electrical or electronical engineering but I thought like should I get an degree or not. And I after I realised okay I can fix some stuff at how changing wires, sockets, swithches and lights ( yes just this). I have skill like soldering but can mostly solder by following instructions. And due to AI change which I transition from software engineering to AI engineering, I have come up with an idea of maybe should I do part-time course and become like domestic electrician?
I want to ask you is it feasable path? Does anyone did something similar?
How is it going as a self-employed electrician in the UK?
Not sure if I fully transition to electrician but sometimes I have thought working on either IoT or working as the electrician at the data centers.
