Found this ‘coin’ in my garden UK.

Huge long shot but any information would be appreciated.

I can’t discern any identifiable markings on it and not even 100% that it’s a coin but it has a ridged edge and is slightly lighter than a £1 coin.

I was wondering if the size/material could give it a vague idea of when it may be dated.

If I need pointing in another direction, I’d welcome the help.
