This thing may have slipped from my bed to carpet a handful over the years or so, so I can only blame myself 💔

My R1 button had a slight crack in the little gap (pic 2 & 3) that made it so one half of R1 rarely occasionally didn’t register when pressed, but today all of a sudden it stopped working at all. Even pressing the grey button doesn’t register at all. It’s a second hand deck I got over a year ago now so the warranty’s gone. Is there anyway to fix this myself, or am I cooked and need a new SD.
