Experience / Review - Buying from r/Lestic

Earlier I had a Dell Inspiron laptop, it was quite old, around 10 years old. I had installed Linux in it, it was working fine apart from Keyboard and battery Issue. Further it was quite heavy and I used to have an External Mechanical Keyboard, due to which it wasn't easily portable. Hence, I started looking for a new laptop.

Initially I was quite confused about which laptop to buy, but couldn't find anything worth-the-money laptop.

Then, somehow I found r/Lestic in my reddit feed, I browsed it and read the reviews about purchase from u/Willing_Front_2397, then I started researching about these commercial/business laptops.

I was always a Dell fanboy and finalized Dell Latitude 5320, due to it's screen size and portability. I texted u/Willing_Front_2397 regarding the same through reddit. He informed me that he had a unit of Latitude 5320, and sent me some photos of the same. I liked that unit but was not sure about the second hand laptop purchase.

After some days, i decided to buy it and texted him again, we further connected over whatsapp, he informed me about all the process /testing involved, however, unit which he shared over reddit was sold out. I wasn't satisfied with the build quality of other units. Hence, I dropped the idea for this purchase.

But then, my old laptop bricked and I was not going to spend any more money on it.

I again did some research for the laptop. And texted him asking for better build quality latitude or thinkpad X series. He informed me about latitude 5420. Now, I was confused which laptop to buy but he suggested that I should go with the latitude 5420 due to its screen quality, I finalized it. He couriered the laptop on Pay on Delivery basis and I received it in a few days.

The first thing I did when I received the laptop was to Install Pop OS (Linux). And Yes, the screen is really damn good. It's everything I wanted in my Laptop. Although I would have loved a lighter laptop, but this laptop is a bang-for-buck laptop.

Vibhav bhai is really professional and never forced me to purchase the laptop from him. He even suggested me Cashify at one point of time, If I get a good deal from them. The whole buying experience was hassle free. He even gave a warranty for the laptop :

120 days warranty Display has 6 months warranty SSD has 6 months warranty

Would recommend r/Lestic to anyone who is looking to buy second hand laptop.

Just a small suggestion to r/Lestic, you may think about splitting the courier charges 50-50 with the buyer, it would help you to stand out. (Although I didn't have any problem with paying the courier charges and hence didn't ask him to split the shipping cost)
