Hi, i will be going for engineering this year, so i need a laptop, as currently i use a 12 year old hp laptop. So i need a budget laptop(max 60k in india rupees), which can perform decently for gpu load, and is also a lil bit future proof, it would help if it was dual channel(intel integrated works better with dual channel), bit i dont think there is any dual channel in this budget segment.

Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US:

60k inr

Are you open to refurbs/used?

If its worth it then yes

How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?

Performance

How important is weight and thinness to you?

Doesnt matter

Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.

15.6inchs

Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.

Light gaming, and editing

If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?

Decent/playable

Hi, i am getting 16.3k rank in jee mains, i can get ece in nitkkr through csab, should i instead go for nit hamirpur ece(or any other cllg) instead of kkr, given the rankings of kkr fell through a lot, instability, bad infra and bad proffs?

I mean, nit kkr has good placements, but with all that's happening and above mentioned things, i am afraid to go for it

So, can anyone plz help me out?

Thank You!
