So Im creating stickers for the company's new website. We want to sell educational design-y stickers to schools/high school. We do categories, the category presented is in Arts. Boss said that the geometrical composition layout I have created to integrate the works of art in, are "stealing the attention" from the works itself. I dont think so but fine.
But lets say it does - doesnt that just mean that viewers will be tempted to look at it from up close, to read, to check it out whats it about? I know kids these days cant give 2 craps about whats on the school walls, especially in public school... especially high school kids. but thats another story to tell.
What do you guys think in this context of educational stickers - can it be wrong in any way that it attracts attention and makes you curious? cause once you decide to get in for a closer look - you wont be looking at the layout anymore, you either start reading the info, or start looking at the painting, or both.
